Pre-testing is a free trial test organised by Cambridge, and is available for levels that can be taken with us. A trial test is shorter than the “real” exam, and usually does not cover all the components of the exam.
For candidates interested in taking a Cambridge exam or preparing for one, pre-testing offers the opportunity to gain a better understanding of the exam format, to familiarise themselves with the exam format, to test their knowledge in real exam conditions, and to get a feel for the exam day itself.
The average waiting time for results is around 4 weeks after the trial exams.
Pre-testing is not available all year round, and the test dates depend on the Cambridge Assessment English calendar.
